2019 Colour of the Year: Living Coral

Does anyone else get as excited as I do for the reveal of Pantone's Colour of the Year? It gives us the opportunity to create a new vision for our homes, our fashion, and more to stay current with what's on trend. It can be tricky when it comes to design though, you want to be strategic with the colour so it still flows with what exists already. Some home accents are definitely easier to swap out than others, like a pillow case or bed sheets, but don't be afraid to get creative! Especially if you love the colour and know it would work indefinitely in a space.

We put together a guide that will leave you feeling trendy without breaking the budget if you're wanting to change things up each year or get piece that will be timeless in your space!

2019 Pantone Colour of the Year: 16-1546 Living Coral

"PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral emits the desired, familiar, and energizing aspects of colour found in nature. In its glorious, yet unfortunately more elusive, display beneath the sea, this vivifying and effervescent colour mesmerizes the eye and mind. Lying at the centre of our naturally vivid and chromatic ecosystem, PANTONE Living Coral is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of colour." - Pantone

Artwork always brings a space together! Getting a piece that has the coral, along with other colours that will really match your space will complete the look and keep you on trend. The hardest part? Having to choose which work you like most! We love how this Urban Road piece looks with some tropical plant touches and a neutral couch. That coral really brings energy to any space!
