My Husband, Zach, and I have been together for over ten years and we got married in the summer of 2018. We became a family of three when we got our Saint Bernard, Beau in November 2018. Living in the city of Toronto, we were craving a place to escape to as well as a property to own since we are currently renting. This part of Lake Huron was special to us since we already had some family with property in the area. We are able to see family on our getaways, which makes it all the more special of a spot.

 

We bought this little blue cottage in January 2018 and went straight to work on it to make it our own. We wanted this space to be bright and airy with the main focus being the views of Lake Huron. A cottage should be a space where you feel relaxed and welcomed, but at the same time we wanted to give it fresh and elegant look. The blues throughout the cottage mimic what you see out the windows to bring the outside in. Each bedroom has a theme to highlight the nature surrounding the cottage. ​

We are excited to be able to share this space with you all, and can't wait to tackle the rest of the projects there. Next up is the basement bathroom/rec room and the shoreline landscaping, stay tuned!
