A Fresh New Guest Bedroom
This fresh new guest bedroom is full of fun and sunshine. The accents of green against the neutral background creates an inviting space for guests to stay the night.

For those of you who follow me on instagram you may have seen a couple posts about the bedroom scheme developing from the curtain fabric that I managed to get on clearance at a Fabric Land in Toronto...
The fabric worked perfectly in the design!
Each bed was accented with a stripe of grasscloth wallpaper behind each bed frame and their own personal wall-mount light.
The wall mounted lights came from Lowes for $54.98 each (find them in the link below).

The walls in the room are painted one of my favotire whites called 'Moonlight White OC-125' from Benjamin Moore. It is the prefect white when you are looking for a touch of grey that still has a little bit of warmth to it. The ceiling is painted 'Mellow Ivory 2149-50' by Benjamin Moore.
In a smaller room, such as this bedroom, I love painting the ceiling a different colour then the walls. When people walk into the room it draws the eye up and around the room, instead of having your eye bounce from one end of the room to the other.
The wall hooks make great use of the limited space in this bedroom and the mirror helps to reflect light from the window around the room making everything appear brighter and lighter.
In between the beds I chose a small candle stick table (something chucky would of felt too heavy in such a light and airy room).
I mangaged to find the prefect vintage car print from the antique store and I painted some watercolours to echo the colour scheme that orginated from the drapes.
In a guest bedroom it is always nice to set out something for your guest. A fancy bar of soap and clean, crisp washcloths will make any guest feel welcome.
